According to the Zohar: Moses was killed by an Israelite.... Is Moses's murderer an Israelite honoured by Jews?

Given that the Zohar was authored by a 13th Century Jewish mystic named Moses De Leon (1250-1305) and was never mentioned in the Talmud, nothing it has to say about Moses has any great authority or credibility.
