What is he playing at?

I posted a question earlier explaining that my boyfirend who is also my flatmate dumping me today (we've agreed we shall always remain friends). I won't go into it again but his reasons left me very confused. Now he's being super nice and attentive to me, more so than ever before. I mean really, What the hell?!Why dump me then be so nice? Is it pity? I'm hiding how upset I am very well.
