Can somebody help me find the family of Mary M. Payne that lived in 1891? Possibly lived in Charlotteville?

I found a little Brown diary inside my grandmothers old piano that has the name Mary M. Payne written on the first inner cover dated in 1891. Some names mention in the diary are : Joseph, Hannah , Maria and Anna, Chester, Sibbie and Will, Mr and Mrs Wallace Jay, Joe and Ellie, Aunt Mary.
