Financial support for starting my own business?

I'm looking to start my own bar in a small town (40,000 people). So it's not going to be an upscale bar, it's a blue collar community. I could pay for some items out of pocket (gles, furniture, decor, billards tables, entertrainment, music related items, ect.). I was going to consult the VA reguarding the establish/lot. But i was seeking a SBL to pay for the business/liquor license, walk in cooler/freezer, 2-3 month supply of beer/liquor and payroll. Would anyone have an idea of how much money i could possibly get from a SBL (I make around $35,000 year as of now). I would be willing to put my house up for collateral ($160,000 value). Are there grants or any other benefits i would be entitled to for such a business? If you have any other advice not reguarding this subject feel free to post your thoughts, thanks for your time.
